FFIX Unleashed [PC-Port]

Had some spare time on hand and decided to port the Unleashed-Mod for the steam-version.
All credit goes to LandonWRay for this incredible mod and Tirlititi for the Hades-Workshop.

How To:
[Backup data files, always!]

Copy the files over the existing ones within the Steam Folder.
Set language within the games menu to 'US'.

Woah. An increased variety of rare items to steal and mostly more difficult enemies, huh? Does this include any changes to the visuals? like the battle command menu? or proper widescreen? Plz tell me the steal rate is increased?

Enemies atleast double in difficulty, seeing as you yourself are weaker (Weapons and armor) and their attacks hit harder.

Visuals remain unchanged. If steam allows widescreen, you can activate it.

Steal rate across the board increased, in accordance to the original mod.
Meaning the elemental staffs for Vivi are easier to steal on Disc1.
Hilgigars Fairy flute also is now a realistical steal.
Most memoria enemies have new rare steals.
Ozma also carries Excalibur 2, made more available (think it was 64/256 steals).

Thanks for porting this.

I'd really like to try it, but I can't seem to get it to install. US is definitely the selected language, and I've ensured that the 3 files included in the download are correctly replacing the ones in the game's folder. I have no other mods running. Any idea what I could be doing wrong?

I've looked at EMR and TZA and they don't really fit what I want. I want the vanilla plot, but with increased difficulty. Is there no way to get Unleashed working?

...it sounds like a fairly major rewrite. I would just like higher difficulty and for everything else in the game to be exactly the same.
