would be greatly appreciated if someone who owns mcsm would invite me to a Steam family

I am not a minecraft fanatic but I purchased Telltale bundle in 2017 which included this minecraft story mode game. Never downloaded the game never played it. I was watching a video today on youtube about how good this game was and how it has been delisted and not possible to play it legally now. But this game is available to download on steam for me and I installed it today and it seems to be working. So am I missing something?...

While it is unlikely that Microsoft would buy Telltale, it's not completely out of the blue, as they are sort of becoming a video game monopoly, purchasing many companies, even having just purchased Activision. So, under the unlikely chance that they did buy telltale, what are the chances you think they would bring the game back?...

I read a little into Minecraft: Story Mode and saw that your choices can't fully save because the choices thing was apart of telltale's server. If that's true, is there anyway to somehow update files on the game itself to have the choices I made?

I heard that you could buy the amazon version to get a Steam key for this game, but is that true? I don't want to waste 25$.
