Possible full screen blank screen fix

Bought the game on the humble bundle, but figured this may be a good place to post the fix that worked for me.

-open windosill
-if it went full screen on launch and was blank hit escape to go to windowed mode
-Now right click inside the game and bring up the menu
-click settings
-click the rightmost bottom button to get to the hardware acceleration area and uncheck enable hardware acceleration

That fixed it for me, I hope it works for you all as well.

Sadly that didn't do anything. I still get a mostly black screen with only the things I can click on and the menu appearing in the window. Also, the game opens up in window mode by default and not full screen.

My problem is a little different. The game starts in windowed mode, and I can put it in fullscreen okay, but the actual resolution of the display doesn't change. The black around it just expands to fill the screen. Furthermore, there's mention of a "settings" menu in this thread. Right-clicking inside the windowed game doesn't bring this up as an option for me. Doesn't bring up any options at all, in fact. Help? :)

The game starts in a window (not full screen), and most of it is black (I guess, except for the objects I can interact with). Right-click doesn't bring any menu...
