Similar Games
I was wondering if anyone knew of similar games to this ? Some kind of management-like game or garden ,that is casual and relaxing. Not like those tycoon games.. but something calmer. Maybe we can create a list of similar games ?

I am also looking for the same kind of game. I am wishing for something that involves deeper gameplay, but that also runs in the background in real time.

Mmmm, I was going to mention Mountain as well. Not quite in the sense of growing things, but in watching something you can't completely control grow/change over time. Very interesting/great "game".

Viva Pinata is a similar sort of game with its own ecology. It isn't on Steam unfortunately.

Virtual Families 1+2 and Virtual Villagers 1-3.
More actual doing but also 'come back tomorrow to see progress' and some riddles.

A long time ago I had a virtual plant game for Windows. Can't remember the name, but it's similar to this one. The nice thing was that it was different kinds of plants (or maybe one plant, but it wasn't a succulent) so it would grow and branch out and look different every time you started a new plant. Aloes are great plants but they tend to have the same look no matter how many plants you have.

The succulent plants are good too but hopefully there will be some future versions with other kinds of plants.

If anybody has a 3ds there's a street pass game called Flower Town, it's pretty similar to viridi only you can do quests and have your friends or bots crossbreed with your plant. You also have a multiple gardens you can place your plants in as well as decorate. It's a basic game but it's cool. still hoping to find a better plant simulation game though.

Neko Atsume is great , there is a lot of waiting involved but I think that's a plus because sim games that need to be checked every two hours is annoying and stressful

You might want to try the game called 'Reach for the Sun'. It is available on Steam.
