Lost in-game controls/menus

Hi, after the latest patch I've lost access to the in-game controls. I picked all my weeds, then selected a plant but the water bottle didn't appear. Then when I clicked away from that plant (outside the pot) the little onscreen doohickey that allows you to access the shop or redesign your pot, the anchor spot never re-appeared. I have deleted the game from my library and re-installed it to no effect - I hope I don't have to delete my whole garden! Any suggestions?

I'm so stressed out! This has happened to me too and I don't want to lose my plants because I have spent money on this game!

Try resizing the window to be very small, and then close the app + steam. Re open Viridi. Hopefully it will load up as the same small-sized window, and the controls will magically be there! That's what worked for me.

Awesome! Thanks, Brooke; I'd resized the window a little before but to no effect. This time I resized it so small the game crashed, and when I relaunched it was barely bigger than the Steam overlay notification pop-up. Dragged to make it big enough to interact with, and behold, the controls were back!

It's not a perfect fix though, nor necessarily permanent. Looks like I got lucky the first time, as the button keeps disappearing and resizing is really screwing with the visuals - it looks like there's some serious texture mapping issues behind this.

Yeah it's certainly not a long-term solution, but at least it will help us to keep our plants alive until they fix the issue! Very glad that I was able to help. :)

For now I've just gone into Vacation mode. Sucks, but it sucks less than watching my plants die.

Thank you soooooo much. My succulents (and snail) were dying because I couldn't do anything but play music.
