How many days until plants die?

If they die. I've waited 10 days (for science), and 3 plants were still 'thirsty' and one of them 'parched'. I watered them and they all went back to sated state.

Wondering if anyone knows for sure how long does it take for death, if it happens, or if there are any other stages of dehydration beyond thirsty and parched.

Different plants have different requirements and time limits, but parched is the final stage before death - they become increasingly brown and then die. This thread may shed some light:

I'd say the information is a bit off on that thread though when he equates parched with dead. It's the second time i find the same plant very brown and in a parched state, then i water it and it goes back to sated, and colour turns back to bright green almost immediately.
