But wanna use the chance to say many thanks for developing FTG and making me curious to play Persona 4 (which I enjoyed, too). And best of luck and success for the upcoming productions.
I do have one query. Wondering if we'll get an assistant manager and offer suggestions regarding players/tactics/opposition, development and training plus recommended transfers, and club upgrades.
Asking for some assistance as this game is for newer and experienced players alike, something that goes beyond a difficulty selection. Either like the optional assistance we get in Football Manager or even Civilization series which is more interactive and engaging.
Will answer your questions:
>will this new module effect previous saves? will we need to start a career from scratch?
Yes, it will be a new game in Steam so you will launch it from a different icon. Also, the changes to the game are huge. Therefore, players will have to start a new campaign.
>With the release of Managers Journey it headed in a design direction I'm not interested in playing
I'm not trying to persuade you, but we made our best to make sure players can play MJ in the same way as they used to in Football Stars but with new features which add more interesting possibilities. So you still can play with only one club and never be fired. But you will get new coach abilities that extend your abilities.

Frankly, I didn't think our game needs that. But if you can provide more details on how you see of how it might work in our game, it would be interesting to read and think about it.
If it was specifically the shift to journeyman manager mechanics, you can reject it at the start of the game by either lowering president strictness to friendly, or using the unknown contact option. Both options still allow you to change clubs later on.
Otherwise it's hard for me to figure out exactly what the sore point might be as it's just more features on top of what you have in Stars. Loading times perhaps? I know that was an issue for a lot of reviewers, hence 65% on the steam store, but that too can be mitigated by sticking to the recommendations for how many clubs are loaded (or at least not going too far over).
Question: Is there any chance we will see female clubs/players? (I know i might be a minority in that topic, but just asking.)
Still this day I play Total Club manager 2004 because I did not find beyond that game and football manager 2015 a game that has all what I would do with a football team. I like to be jack of all, manage the team, finances, loans-buying players, marketing, being active with fans, improving infrastructure and making - designing a new stadion for the team. The graphic of the game is a bit outdated but the systems works very well and I am surprised no one really tried to recreate it with better mechanics and graphics but keeping the core. I have a personal life in TCM2004 and i can donate to the club or just looking at my stock and properties what I got and traded.
I know this game and series is meant to be a different kind of football manager but some features would be interesting to see in this one or I will just simply stick with TCM2004 and mod it to my likes.
The difference of cultures and styles in footballers is something that I really wished for without maybe have words for it, or really having put that much thought about it. On paper, this is fantastic on a lot of levels. First of all, one can play a team in different countries, and have different experiences. For a player, this is great, because we can replay the game a lot of times, trying a lot of different countries, or just tweaking options to have a fresh experiences with the same classes having different particularities.
Not only that, but with players moving around the world as they get hired, all those nuances mix, and can make teams which will all have their own signature, all feel unique. I'm really eager to see what those meshing of styles can produce in term of efficiency.
I'm also very glad to see loans finally make their apparition, it will allow to train some players which aren't used much a lot more easily, and will also allow access to more players when recruiting and forming a team, this process was something I really wished for.
Managing a national team can also be something pretty fun, although I'm sure as is traditional, a lot of us will yell at footballers who leave for national matches, leaving the team with no depth, and come back injured for 6 months, as seems to be traditional in most football manager games :p .
I am a bit disappointed the manager can't have any female portraits, but then again, I understand it would mean creating female assets just for that, which is a lot of work. I've been used to play all kind of weird characters playing video games so not having female characters is not that unusual, but still, would have been nice. Maybe one day.
If I could suggest an addition to the game, it would be to have the possibility to side-manage under 21/Under 18 teams for your club, to be able to groom your future generations of players, and pick the best ones for your main team. This is one thing I do like from the little I know of Football Manager, that there is a bigger focus on youth developement and more choice in players imput(as in players joining the club) from those younger teams.
Also, I feel sorry for bothering you for so long with the celebration animation bug and delaying your work :p . I hope you will have fun flexing your creative muscles to make the game you really want!
