PSA: Binding multiple skills to one hotkey is a great QoL!
I read this in a post that seem to be missing now.

I ended up binding skill 1-5 to LMB and only skill 6 as my RMB for "ultimate" and boy what a game changer that was for me!

Most classes have some buffs that need to be recast every now making it cumbersome to play hitting 1-2-3-4 all the time.

I do think not many people know about this. Mana shouldn't be an issue most class has some sort of mana regeneration perk and mana potions.

I found your post cause I was gonna ask a question about this. I believe I read in another post, maybe the same one as you, that you can bind all multiple skills to one button, but I'm unable to do it. When I try to assign a button that is already in use, to another skill, it simply unbinds from the skill it was on. What am I missing?

You have to go to keybindings to change your hotkey to the same key you want to use first.

In other games, usually you will get a message "this key is already in use" but not Chronicon.

Great tip! I tried this, and it seems to cycle through the skills on that button rather than fire them off at the same time.

It doesn't work with basic attack abilities (I had to try :B1:) and if you do that it just uses one of them while ignoring the others.

well yes, you cant use skills at the same time anyway, even when bound to different keys and pressed at the same time

I have to say I do love this. I have 3 AoE spells bound to RMB and I changed the keybinding for my dash to SPACE. It's a great inclusion.

Yes it does, you just need to know how it works.

It will cast from right side of your bar to left, so you put skills with the larger cooldown on the right, and less cooldown on the left, most left being ur spam skill if u have one.


And it's much better to RMB than LMB so u never have to force stand still to attack like LMB does.

just to be clear: this still means you can have 5 active skills at most at once right?

This is a great idea but for me it does point to a design flaw with the game, in that pretty much all skills are basically just "cast whenever it comes out of cooldown, no thought needed".

Exceptions seems to really be just Ultimate and Defensive/Movement skills.

Its a dungeon crawler arpg, the thought is the build design, not the hack and slash gameplay...

Have you never played poe, diablo or any other arpg?

you dont have to use the basic attack skill, so you have 6 slots to do what you want with.

cooldowns are there simply because certain abilities would be op without them. this isnt overwatch where cooldowns need to be managed/used sparingly/reactively. they are meant to be spammed. I dunno what you want.

Making mana an issue would fix the spam problem and bring choicemaking instead of spamming
