Annoying minimap
Hello!!

I've been enjoying and loving the game so far! Buut one thing i find annoying is the minimap.

I put it on my left side of the screen with "TAB" key because the default minimap shows a very small map. The problem is on very big dungeons or places the map takes the whole screen and i can see a little on the actual game.

It would be nice to have a minimap like the default one in whick i could zoom in/out and move around, specially with a hotkey to make things easier. Ex: Alt+wasd would move the map. Just like in Tibia.

There is an option to change the scaling of the default minimap, which will let you see a little more. However, it's still a really small area, and this has been something that bothers me, too. Would be nice to be able to zoom it out further.

Another thing to think about - really wish the player icon was bigger on the minimap. It's a tiny little dot that's almost impossible to see when your minimap is taking up the whole screen. Needs to be bigger - I spend a lot of time squinting at my screen to try and find that tiny dot. :D

The problem I have with the minimap is that it's hard to see in some areas. For example, in Act II, it's hard to see when you're in the forest. Would be nice if they had an intensity scaling so we can see it more or see it less.

Same here, the problem comes when you have the map at the size of the whole screen and the background is light (as in act II on the forest). If we were able to zoom out on the default minimap with black background at the corner it would be easier to locate us and navigate. Thats my point here :steamhappy:

Sometimes is hard to find youself but other times having the map blocking the whole screen annoys a little bit even if you find yourself.

Yea, there's a few things that make it difficult to use the minimap.

Using a Dragon Leap build, the skill effect spam fills the screen so much that I sometimes can't easily see legendaries, myself, or the portal lol.

You can tweak the transparency and icon scale and whatnot but I realize it's far from optimal as you'd probably want different settings for different areas. The map is at a "better than nothing" stage and far from done, you can expect a full view map you can bring up and pan around, as well as a much more coherent overlay in the future :)

We never made a big pan-able map, but we improved the overlap map greatly and added several optional positions for it etc
