LA Noire, Murdered: Soul Suspect, Danganronpa (not actual police members involved in this one but it's a really nice game).

In the end, it's going to depend a bit on what you liked about this. The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief is a game I can't wholeheartedly recommend, but it might interest you if you're starved for games like these. There's also part 0 of the Still Life series, Post Mortem. Stepping a bit further away from this, the Black Mirror series might be of interest. I enjoyed the first one, but I found the main character in part 2 to be so unlikeable that I simply did not enjoy the game. The Tex Murphy series are also not super close to this, but I really liked them. Same with the Gabriel Knight series.

I also recommend the Raven. It has a Hercule Poirot like character named Constable Zellner who is more active and reckless than Poirot and nearly got killed a few times. It even starts on the Orient Express(homage to the Murder on the Orient Express) in Chapter 1 and a murder on a cruise ship on the way to Cairo, Egypt in Chapter 2 (homage to a Death on the Nile). It also includes as a recurring character a world famous detective lady writer(homage to Agatha Christie) whose protagonists in her novels has a name similar to Poirot.

I consider The Raven an enjoyable point and click detective story with many twists and turns that will keep you guessing who the villains are. The only drawback are the controls which makes moving the character and pointing at choices a bit of a chore.

Although the gameplay, as well as the story is greatly different from ABC Murders, I had to think about the following game quite often, while I was playing ABC. https://store.steampowered.com/app/234940/The_39_Steps/
