It is an old game and only worth the full price if you really are into souls or got the money anyway.
i've played fallen order / jedi survivor which are souls-like and enjoyed them a lot since im into star wars. i do own dark souls Remaster (bought for INR 599/-[now costs 1199/-] and Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin(purchased a few days ago for INR 1199/-). Yet to play either.
But if you are new maybe consider Elden Ring first, it's more alive than DS3

For example, played Fallon Order its ok but I didn’t finish it and never will.
I would gladly replay Souls games when i will get time. And i didn’t play them on release also
