Absolutely. It is becoming a classic, just like the original Dark Souls. It is generally more difficult than Elden Ring, if you've played that, but largely because progression is linear and you must defeat particular bosses (and other enemies) in order to reach each resting place (bonfire). From what I can see when I was playing just now, there looks to be a still healthy online PvP community (including people who can assist you, at the risk of invasions).

i had a look @Dark Souls Remasted, the gameplay looks dated, this is an 8 year old game being sold at INR 2500/- during sale. even forza horizon 5 premium sells for that price during sale I have to know its worth it. i don't want to pay 2500/- if the player handling is outdated.

3 still handles quite well. ds remaster is dated because its from like.. 2011. the remaster just fixed a few things like lag in blighttown, and a few visual tweaks, but its a remaster not a remake so it handles basically the same as the original version of ds1 (4 directional rolling instead of omni-directional like ds3 and ER). in short yea ds3 still plays great. and ds1 is a fair bit older than 8 years which explains why its clunky.

If its your first souls / soulslike game I would recommend elden ring and if you enjoyed this game then dark souls 3 is defenetly a good pick - as long as you buy it on sale imo.
It is an old game and only worth the full price if you really are into souls or got the money anyway.

i've played fallen order / jedi survivor which are souls-like and enjoyed them a lot since im into star wars. i do own dark souls Remaster (bought for INR 599/-[now costs 1199/-] and Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin(purchased a few days ago for INR 1199/-). Yet to play either.

Well bro Im asking you now is it worth it? (for invasions mostly) I play elden ring and ds2 and the matchmaking is great there are dozens of players playing together but I have no clue for ds3

it's an 8 years old game but I guarantee you it's better than a lot of AAA craps after it
But if you are new maybe consider Elden Ring first, it's more alive than DS3

Even original Dark Souls worth it
For example, played Fallon Order its ok but I didn’t finish it and never will.
I would gladly replay Souls games when i will get time. And i didn’t play them on release also
