Lord of Cinder
So i beat the final boss a few minutes ago.. mind you im decent at souls games, but not a pro. And I cant help but wonder: does anyone else think Lord of Cinder was too easy? Dancer of boreal valley, pontiff etc destroyed me. I wanted to test out the final boss just to see his moveset and I ended up beating him without expecting to.

It took me around 10-12 attempts for me and I don’t think he was too easy. I thought really an overwhelming difficult boss isn’t the way to end their games even though they’re famous for being difficult (especially after Nameless King). The idea of the fight felt like more of a lasting image and a call back for people who followed the games and loved the journey the entire series brought as a whole. Hearing the infamous “PLIN PLIN PLON” got me killed several times and the image the fight left on me will last forever. I personally think the fight was a work of art and I will never forget the first time I fought him, hearing PLIN PLIN PLON, and beating him.

Yeah dont get me wrong the fight was beautiful. I love all these crazy boss designs, but for me, you cant beat a classic sword to sword duel. I just felt like it was ironic cuz ive struggled against bosses said to be "easy." But it is different for everyone

I think that the bosses of the dls deserve the attention of Frieda, grandpa, black dragon. I can also point out the Pantifica, the demons are close

That’s a big one for sure. For example, I beat Frieda faster than Soul of Cinder so the experience for me definitely could give me a bit of a different view than you

Well... if you have played the prior Dark Souls games there is a reason you might have found him easy.

There's a bit more to this than you might have initially realized.
