what the poster above me mentioned about owning the DLC does not apply to rings. if you can pick the item up, you wont be banned even if you dont own the DLC. what does ban is if you do not own the DLC and use cheat engine to obtain DLC items that cannot be dropped to other players, mainly spells, or if you use the bonfire warp script to enter the DLC.
i like to keep a few extras havel's ring +3 and i always drop them for hosts that are fat rolling.
I have all the DLC! It's just that when I invaded at a low level, it seemed like the opponents weren't the most common players, but imbalanced or troll-nerds :)... So I thought maybe I got on some kind of blacklist or something because of these rings.
