Can't Stream DS3 on Discord

Alright, I've been bangin' my head on the desk trying to figure this one out myself, and I need someone to give me another idea on what to try next.

It seems no matter WHAT I do to try and stream DS3 on Discord, it just DOESN'T WANT TO. I can get the game booted up and get into gameplay and do just fine. I can even get it running borderless fullscreen with Borderless Gaming OR the Unsqueezed mod (not both at the same time, duh) and disabling all overlays. But it seems once I try and screenshare it via Discord to my server, the SECOND I focus on the DS3 window, it either hard crashed to the desktop, or froze entirely with audio still playing, and no controls on the menu working.

I can share the ENTIRE screen just fine, but then there's no audio streaming, just visuals.

I've tried fullscreen, windowed, borderless windowed, changing resolution to 1080p (my monitor is natively 1440p), and even just running CLEAN installed game, no mods or funny ini configs or Nvidia Control Panel tweaks, just resolution changes and whatever options can be changed in-game. ALL result in the game either freezing or crashing.

All drivers are up to date, so that shouldn't be the issue.

Is this just a long-overdue bug that STILL hasn't been squashed to this day, or am I missing something here?

Click the stream button on discord but dont click anything yet, tab back into ds3 and keep your mouse cursor on discord and click DS3

No dice.

Stream started, and people could join and SEE the game in motion with audio, but it's not in focus. The SECOND I try and Alt-Tab back in (no mouse clicking, PURELY keyboard) game instantly crashes to desktop.

AHA! GOT IT!

For me, the ONE thing that got it working without crashing:

Go into Discord -> User Settings -> Voice and Video

And disable the option "Use out latest technology to capture your screen"
