Greirat's Ashes are gone!

I've finished the game recently, killed all bosses and Soul of Cinder, but didn't start 2nd journey, then I sent Greirat to his pillage, he's not in the firelink shrine, he's not in the sewers with the spider-like creatures, he's not on the Grand Archives rooftops. Where is he?

Hmm afaik his quest updates everytime the requirements are met and after you kill a boss, you probably know his questline already but it might be good to track your steps back, so it would had to be something like:
_Freeing him from his cell
_Giving him loretta's bone
_Interact with him while he weeps
_Sent him pillage
_Kill a boss
_Reach Irithyll
_Sent him pillage
_Kill a boss
Here wheneter he lives or not depends if: You have or have not rescued siegward before killing boss or did or did not told patches his whereabouts before venturing past the irithyll dungeon.
If he survived: you should have found him in the firelink shrine
_Reach the grand archives
_Sent him pillage to the grand archives
_Kill another boss
Then he should be found on the rooftop below the gargoyle
If he's nowhere to be found, have you killed a boss, after sending him pillage the grand archives? or did you ran out of bosses to kill while he was out pillaging? if so he might be in a weird limbo, are you sure you have killed every single boss in the game, including the dlc?

I believe you can be summoned to kill a boss and that will progress the quest

I have to kill some DLC bosses yet, I hopefully that will work.
