Buy The Pre-Ordered Dark Souls 3 or Wait for The Bundle One ?

well i dont want to be spoiled by the internet when the game is released on a bundle, so im taking it day one :D

Only bundle you will see is with DLC, like PtDE. The only reason Scholar existed was because of new consoles and we won't see those again anytime soon.

Please don't pre-order. From Software isn't exactly known for solid PC ports. At least wait one day to see if it will even work on modern machines.

is this game a port though? can a game be called "port" when it has been developed from the beginning for the PC along with the PS4 and Xbox One? i don't think so. And well my reasons to preorder are just for the fact that i wanna play this game from day one and i dont want to wait any longer, if this game results in having technical issues on PC i ll just ask for a refund.

Plus, think about it. If someone doesnt try it, how are we supposed to know if it works on modern machines? ;)

i am for 100% sure it will become another really bad port, like it was before, with nearly every title they brought out.

Ohh, and they will not fix any bugs regarding higher framerate or anything like that, as long as its not used for skips...

Just look at DS1, and especially DS2, once you went from 30 fps to 60 you broke your game.

what happened on 60 fps, compared to 30 fps? half the invincibility frame rates, enemies are faster + got smarter, weapons degrade twice the rate, some bugs with collision, etc.
i was not able to play whip, twinblades, any other weapon which breaks fast at all, and there were a lot of areas, with a lot of enemies, which broke my weapon quite easily (because corpses counted twice or sth like that when attacked, add in a low durability and a lot of weapons get useless!)

just pls dont get the preorder, wait till you are sure the game is a good port (because it wont ever be a real release, build on pc from the beginning, till the end, or ported well)

yes, the game is called an port, because they didnt do anything to make it work on pc, they just used some kind of software to decode the ps4/xbox1 (it will be the ps4 version getting ported to pc, its a lot easier, because of a lot of similarities of the language) and then add in/correct some lines of coding here and there, missing a lot of stuff, sometimes (reading: ALWAYS) creating bugs or incompatibility issues

If you want to wait a half year longer then the rest of the world and have your experience spoiled by everybody because all the secrets are already reveealed and only face against experienced players when you get invated, then feel free to wat. Me for my part, I will ge a nergasm for playing a new souls title at day one with the rest of the world.

well , I suggest wait for a GOTY version...
by so far , the only one that has not a GOTY version is demon soul. even bloodborne bundled the basic part and DLC to put out a GOTY version...
So I bet there will surely be a GOTY version for DS3! better gaming experience with probably, the same price! Why not you wait?

I'll buy the game and all DLCs that may come later and I don't care, if they release a GOTY version later, buuuut I'll be absolutley p****d, if said GOTY version has content you can't have the other way (such as Aldia in SotfS) or split the community into the two game versions :/
