I don't know. For me DS is about failing, learning patterns and adapt. And I love this, because it also throws your mindset in the mix. You need to remain positive or atleast resist giving into frustration and anger, because that makes it harder (for me at least) to focus.
A Battle Royale is "over" once you died. You typically are matchmade against new players, leading to a different set of circumstances. So there is no enemy specific adaptation.
With DS especially I see a few issues because the whole game is balanced for you to pay attention to your limited resources (stamina, hp, estus, etc.). From my experience most BR offer a lot more resources to players.
I see why a BR in DS is intruiging, but I feel like it would change the formula to much for my personal taste.
