Any way to get embers quickly? i need help with friede but i have none and invading doesnt seem to work for me

There are a few enemies that can drop embers, most notably the various knight enemies. Black knights, Lothric knights, Ringed kinghts, and Carthus swordsmen are the ones the wiki lists in addition to the various red-eyed enemies you can encounter.

I'm guessing you've exhausted the vendor supply already. Other options are doing co-op or invading, if you don't have any luck with farming. Beyond that, just whatever treasure ones you may have missed.

If you want a recommendation on how to make the fight against Friede considerably easier - consider using the Farron Greatsword. The L1 attack (do 2 attacks in a row and then roll away) is very effective when it comes to dealing damage and interrupting her attack moves.

Due to the pretty large attack area it is also quite likely to hit her.

noted. although i ran out to twinkling titanite and in this ng+ run im on i ran out of them

i think.

and i dont really wanna restart because this is the closest ive gotten to all bosses in one run

This is not me and I think the player could've been more aggressive in p3 but it perfectly highlights how easily she can be bullied in phase 1.
