Longer than Dark Souls 2?

I was impressed with the length of Dark Souls 2. Took me at least 50 hours to beat on my first playthrough. What do you guys think?

I hope it's shorter honestly. I know that's a weird complaint but especially with the DLC I feel like Dark 2 is too long. Maybe if Dark 2 was as good as Dark 1 then I wouldn't mind the length as much though, I dunno.

DS is more about the PvP for me, so I'm not really worried about story length.

Ds1 had 26 bosses(with dlc), ds2 had 41 (with dlc), so ds2's is larger in terms of bosses, but there is allot of filler sections that make the game needlessly longer.

During DS1,you can skip about half of the story with the master key, I guess DS3 is also gonna have it cus they said it would be more like DS1..

Yeah I want it to be really long. Apparently the minimum size is like 50gb so that should be alot of content

You could rush through the game quite fast though, but it is tedious as hell after the first 2-3 times you do it.

I would totally be fine with the lenght of Bloodborne but the content of a Dark Souls game, after all, they already announced two add ons, and yes, I would call them expansion packs and not dlcs, because that's what they are. The 2 add ons problably add 30-50% of content, if it's as good as in Bloodborne. I believe that Dark Souls 3 will be a huge game, because they already got assets without end from bloodborne to quickly place buildings and trees and they worked on it sinse Scholar was in development, that is plenty of time. We can count on at least 50h first time play through.

I'm hoping DKS3 + DLC is around the same length as DKS2 + DLC. The length of DKS2 just felt right.
