Can this laptop run DARKSOULSIII?
Acer Aspire E1-572G
Intel Core i5-4200U 1.6GHz up to 2.6GHz
AMD Radeon HD 8750M with 2GB Dedicated VRAM
2 x 4 GB DDR3 Memory
Windows 10
and the rest I guess doesn't really matter that much. I can run DarkSouls 2 on maximum graphics settings with it rarely dropping to 40 fps, so I guess I should be able to run DarkSouls 3 on at least minimum if not medium around 40 fps.

But I want to hear your opinion.

doubt it

Sorry man, you have some pretty weak laptop hardware. If you can't even run DS2 at a solid 60fps I wouldn't expect this one to run very well.

Well you have already bought the game. Lowest settings at 30 fps it is.

Yea I guess most of you take 'playable' as a solid 60 fps, but it's all a matter of getting used to it.
You might miss some movements and stuff and you can't dodge parry or whatever in time, but it all just makes it harder which is what I want from this game, I mean it's too easy otherwise. I'm also playing with keyboard, in ds1 it was a pain in the ass, but it all just felt better in the end for it was not meant to be played like that thus more difficult.

When I said "doubt it", I meant "doubt it you can even run it at 30".

Yeah we're talking below 20fps best case scenario.

He should be happy then, according to him it makes the game harder and therefore better

Well I hope you're wrong about that, I mean it's not cryengine 4 or whatever, and neither ds1.
But all I can do is hope for the best.

PC version isn't looking too bright, so that's all we can do.
Hope for the best.

Buddy, your specs are way below the minimum requirements at the store page, and it's not even the updated requirements[www.darksouls.jp]. Also, dark souls 2 and 3 are using totally different game engines. It is not a good indication of how well you'll run this game. Ds3 uses the Bloodborne engine, which the game is running 20++fps on the ps4. Depending on how well FROM Software is gonna optimize this game, day one patch or not, I can't see it running too well on your rig. Perhaps 30fps+- on the lowest resolution and settings, time will only tell. Sorry man.

DS3 runs solid 30 fps on PS4, XBO runs it 24++. Dark Souls 3 PS4 vs Xbox One Gameplay Frame-Rate Test sooo I guess they made some improvements to the engine.. on ps4.
And these spec requirements are never accurate, I can run games 30+- fps while my specs are way below the minimum, so there's that much of a good sign, but I guess only time will tell.

I hate to repeat myself, but I think you will really struggle to play this game even at 30fps.
