A guy in that thread said it will be available for preload on the 9th on his ps4, so im guessing thats the case on all platforms

50 gigs is pretty big, can I just get a physical copy and install it that way?

It s not an official date or confirm but better than nothing and seems logic. Maybe on PC we ll be able to pre load before cause the game will probably be heavier in terms of Go.

On PC you ll get only a steam key anyway even if you buy the physical version.

TBH most preloads on Steam are compressed and encripted to prevent that and to make the dl size easier to handle.

Release triggers unpack and activation and normally a Day 0 patch.

It doesn't matter if you data mine the game. You can't crack it. Steam protection pre release has NEVER been cracked since it has a release date check and its also encrypted with a key thats only released when steam servers release it.
