Why DS3 in particular is so expensive?

It is on sale now but it is still one of the most expensive things in my wishlist.

Ds1 and 2 could have better discount but overall fine, but this game is much more expensive for some reason, it's not much more advanced than those 2.

I understand, it is a masterpiece but it's not like it's that better than others.

And pc version controls are clunky af (not as bad as early games but still).
Re4, bg3, starfield are all cheaper than this. And this is without DLCs.

That was my fault not buying it earlier (or to be precise refunding it because I needed balance for something else).
No souls bundle too btw, i remember it was there couple years earlier.

I guess Bandai really became greedy after ER success.

Btw, talking about port quality, do pc version still have gamepad-only tutorial messages even when you play k&m?

I finished all the games, just having only er and sekiro in steam.
Will hopefully get souls later when I won't have to sell too many items to buy them.

Just my guess, but i'd say it's because statistically it is the fan-favorite, most purchased/popular of the series. So with that, that's how they justify charging that price for it. If the "hype" for it hasn't died, or been brought back by ER, they can assume people will still pay a lot for a popular game

The base game costs the same as Elden Ring (at least where i am). If anything, i'm surprised Elden Ring doesn't cost $60, and the whole DS3 pack along with DLCs is obviously much more expensive than any other in the series, i wonder how much ER's DLC will cost.

(Btw Sekiro is still $60, aim at Activision for that one if you'd like)

Funny how prices work on other countries, here in México is like $40 and the deluxe edition is slightly above $50.

ah well for me both elden ring and dark souls 3 base is 80 cad, deluxe is 113 cad
