Game Won't Launch

Upon launching a command prompt comes up saying "Unsupported version of Dark Souls 3 Detected. This version of Mod Engine was built for DS3 App Version 1.15 steam release, and is not supported with cracks or other versions..." After going past this a fatal application error happens and crashes the game.

In the past I family shared this game, played and had downloaded and tried cinders. That was back in 2020 and this is the first time I've downloaded the game since then. Going through the game files and searching my PC for Cinders, there is nothing left of it. Any help for this situation?

did you wipe everything in the gamepath?
