Then you're too "skilled" for this game. Gael is not an easy boss at all. But he's still manageable, as this game was not intended to be impossible to finish, even though it's pretty hard and you have to get used to it and improve yourself (git gud).

Idea is, many people still find this game to be hard. Most of souls-vets did find this game to be hard back then.

Game is too easy for you? Try other challenges like: SL1 run or no-hit run or a speed-run. Or these combined. I don't know, maybe buff yourself, use Power Within and don't use heals and see if you can still do it before you're dead. Or nerf yourself. Maybe you used an OP weapon? Use something else next time. Stuff like these. If you still find the game too easy, maybe try some other games.

i mean if you know how the game work and how you fight every single boss is ez.
i played this game last time like 2-3 years ago and just started another playthrow and so far only the Pontiff Sulyvahn gaved me some troubles(and this is only cuz im lazy to try parry him) :D
