DS3 wont start up and i don't know why
i will press play it will show the preparing to launch box then just stop

Has this just started happening? Are you retuning to game after a break?

Just a reminder if DS3 wont launch after new patch
you have to uninstall all mods inc wex dust, honest merchant although its been updated but we are not sure as yet if safe. Blue sentinel and any other mods used
then look for this files "xinput1_3.dll" and "dinput8.dll" and "imgui.ini"

Location right click on DS3 in library then properties then local files the browse

If you didn't upgrade the mods that use the files like Blue sentinel or honest merchant then they block your play

It can be many things, your anti virus is blocking it for instance.

I shut it down the moment I run into problems. I tried reinstall it, but it only works one time, and after I close the game, it won't start up again

I will send thread to db an IT wizard see if he can help you. Post your PC specs and windows 10 or 11?
If its windows 11 that has lots of issues!!
