This is the reason the game is not on sale on steam.
They are trying to bypass the lower prices steams charges on poor countries, which results in them making less money.

Consoles charges doesn't have that (if it has, it's way less than Steam. I know because I have the souls franchise on my ps4 and the prices are way higher than the ones from Steam), and that's why the sales are more often.

That's why they are putting on sale on their official stores, theres's a discount at a 60$ price, nothing less than that, and F u if you live in a poor country.

Honestly.. that's just frustrating, I get it, they just want to make as much money as possible, but f that.

Honestly, I have Dark Souls III along with the DLC's on steam and I bought it on sale earlier this year (02/jan/2022), I paid R$59.97 (Brazilian currency), and it is very rare to enter the Steam Sale , the way is to put it on the wish list and wait, just like I'm waiting for Dark Souls Remastered.

idk, but it seems to me they would get much more profits based on quantity of the sold games on sale rather than cost of game alone.

My region doesn't even have regional pricing. It's the same price as US.

Yeah that make sense. Also they don't need to extend their player base by discount because of ELDEN RING. If they need more players they can just discount elden ring and everything will work for them.
