How do you get the fire keeper set without hacking?

Every video I've seen the person lands on the coffin then doesnt step back, my character always steps back after landing. Am I going to have to hack the game or is there a way to bypass this horrible piece of game design?

Sounds more like an issue with your controller than the game design.. Try unplugging your controller and doing it with KB/M?

I got it in my first try. Just give a small step and you fall right into it.

go a bit to the left and then run/jump there, if you land straight in the middle you will slide off.

I had this same issue at first. I jumped and did a plunging attack, which stopped me in my tracks when I landed. I was able to get it that way. Hope this helps!

Just position yourself straight towards it on the bridge and run forwards. Don't jump, just run towards it as fast as the character gets from the other end of the bridge. It worked on my side like this. The bloodstains showed people jumping to their deaths. I think that it's improtant to be perpendicular to the wall, not on angle. GL

try the plunge attack. just spring towards the coffing and press attack with a melee weapon. you will smash yourself right on the edge of the coffin and stay there.
