How do I cast spells?

I'm playing as a sorcerer using mouse and keyboard and for the life of me I can't figure out how to select spells. What buttons do I need to press?

I've looked there, but I still don't see anything having to do with spells.

EDIT: Oh I just figured it out, gotta switch out the sword for staff. I'm a dumbass, thought it was a secondary weapon.

You can wield a sword in one hand and a staff in the other so no switching involved. You drop your shield in favor of doing so though. Your choice!

Dude just give in and get a controler. You have to have one to play this game. I hate using controlers for pc games but this one it actually works with. Just get a cheap one and you will thank me later

Dude just give in and get a controler. You have to have one to play this game. I hate using controlers for pc games but this one it actually works with. Just get a cheap one and you will thank me later

You don't have to have a controller, but it's highly recommended. A 360 controller frmo EB Games works just fine.

Basically, there's normal and strong attacks for every weapon, you have separate buttons for strong and normal attacks for your left and right hands. The normal attack for a magic catalyst is casting the active spell (if it matches the equipped catalyst), the strong attack is a melee whack. A lot of catalysts has a Weapon Skill that will somehow buff you for a little bit; if the catalyst is equipped in your left hand you'll use the weapon skill instead of the melee attack (this goes for all weapons with a weapon skill when you press strong left attack).

This probably made stuff more confusing :P
