How do i beat the creepy ice knight guarding the door?
Not the boss one the smaller one after you meet the onion knight. he just moves so erraticly and swings so much that one or two hits is a death sentence with his frostbite building up. Can't block because frostbite. can dodge a couple times but cant hit cause run out of stamina for his next combo. I cant summon help and i tried using throwing fireballs at him and that does no dmg. what do I do?

Run past him, open the gates, light the bonfire, then throw fireballs at him from a safe distance

Doesnt he muder you in the back if you try to open the doors?

He's quite relentless but you can hide behind the pillars.

Really weird.

Pain in the ass mini-boss here.

Chain after chain after chain.

With his health only at 75% (and me out of estus') I decided just to go nuts.

I actually killed him, lol... go figure.

problem with hiding behind pillars is that it often breaks the lock.

I saw Hotform's stream yesterday, he tried to fight him with a mage, no chance, so he decided to run away, and while ascending on the elevator, the knight rushed him, killed him with one swipe, but fell into the elevator shaft himself and was dead. Hotform got the loot, and was happy to cheese the bossfight so nicely.

Have you used all your titanite on your main weapon? By this point in the game you should have a 200 damage weapon because enemies will start having alot more health. The Hollowslayer Greatsword is a really good sword, like the Claymore in DS1 but deals 50% extra damage to zambies. (you get it by trading the curse-rotted soul with the legless guy in firelink)

I'm using a rapier buffed and infused.

It's fun... I can't wait for someone to call me a scrub, lol

If you open doors or perform a critical attack aka a backstab and things like that you are in a animation and immune to damage.

So yeah you could have just run to the door opened it and used the bonfire behind the door.

But glad to read you took the challenge head on and ended up the victor!

Make sure you get it upgraded to maximum ptential, you've got 2 very tough and fast bosses coming up.

Dude, I'm like 10 bosses into the game...

I've died less than 10 times...

I've logged over 800 hours on souls games...

No offence, but I know what I'm doing, lol
