That said, I haven't found a fix for it other than to try your best to ignore it. Here's hoping a fix is either found or patched in soon, would hate to have this amazing Gold Experience™ ruined by some poor audio...
Shame, because the jarring audio shifts really takes you out of it. Please drop a fix soon, From.
So if you open the menu while in a windy area, the audio will cut out and then slowly come back. It's jarring as hell and it's really ruining my immersion.
Another issue I found was that putting your audio levels in the game's options (e.g. setting music, SE and voice to 10) would overload your levels and cause heavy distortion (much like putting a music track to 0dB rather than -6dB), so be sure to keep your audio levels at 7 or below and just adjust your system volume instead.
I'm experiencing it for all ambient tracks I've come across, not only the wind track
Worked for me, too. Thanks, Lurifax.
Not only ambient noisy cut out and replayed/restarted for no reason, for certain period time I cant even hear the move sets audio from bosses and some enemies, its like I was fighting air and totally destroying experience in some sense.
Pls fix.
GTX780 here
I really can't play until this is fixed, it's ripping me out of the game every step of the way.
I have a DAC but I also use the motherboard sound card for the microphone. Updated both drivers (DAC and Motherboard sound drivers) and background sounds are now fine in DS3.
