Pros and Cons of the Deprived Class?
You start out with 10 points in all of the stats. Your soul level will be 1 as opposed to the other classes which are around 10. Since the matchmaking is based on Soul level instead of soul memory will this provide any advantages? Can other classes still use 100% shield block like the knight? Thanks ahead.

since every thing has 10 points in it you can make a more balenced character.

You will have 10 luck and NO advantages!

Can I still use a shield with 100% block if I pick deprived?

Shield block is related to your shield, not your class. Deprived is the worst class for min maxing, but people like it for a non pvp jack of all trades, master of none. Essentially the idea is that even stats let you try everything. I don't agree, especially with how int and faith scales now. Probably better off with a quality warrior or knight.

It's a good starting class for a first run if you want to practice with different weapons, since you'll be changing equipment more often :)
It's also the only class starting at level 1, meaning you can invade anyone with him \o/

The downside is that you can't respec any point lower than 10, which means you'll never really have an optimal build later on, since other classes might provide lower useless stats for a certain build :)

Wouldnt starting off at level 1 allow you to level up super quickly and allow you to place 9 points across attributes like str, dex, end, and vit? By the time you are level 10 you would theoretically be better off than someone just starting the game. I know later on you wouldnt be able to respec any classes below 10, but wouldnt this pay off for early game PVP? I have little interest in using magic so the only appeal to me is soul level 1 starting out.

Since we start at SL1, wouldnt leveling up be very easy? So by the time we get to level 10 we already out-class players just starting the game? I guess this would only be viable in the early game for PVP huh...

You'll have to find one.
Since you start with mediocre weapons. you get a 40% shield

Pro: Fast roll, full build control, and fast stamina regeneration

Cons: You look like an absolute mad man, your open booty attracts more invaders, you feel the breeze between your knees (though you may like that)

Luck = Wasted stats (for the vast majority of people)
So it's technically best to pick something with as few points wasted in Luck as possible.
Knight is probably the best in that case.

Just because you "outclass" them in stats doesnt mean you are better at them equipment wise :/

Knight has all points in essential stats. Vitality is important for trying out heavier weapons.

Not really, no. The sum of the stats is the same at each level. A level 100 deprived built as a quality build will have the same amount of stats as a level 100 warrior, but will have more useless stats like faith and int.

A luck build!
Oh wait other classes have higher luck well ah!
A mundane build!
Oh wait that's not a thing...
