Is GreenManGaming a legit retail seller?
I were wondering if Green Man Gaming is trustworthy enough. DS3 has a high prize and i don't have much money right now. Can i use Green Man Gaming without worrying to be scammed?

EDIT : Another question is, are they fast on lending out the keys. What is the estimated time to get the key?

Yes they are legit, they are partnered with Bandai, check dark souls reddit, someone asked the same question.

I mean I don't personally use anthing other than official store fronts like Steam or similar, but as far as I know GMG is used by many people. Can't say for certain if it's the best option or not since I don't use it but I know it's used.

Seems like it, their prices are just not close enough to a "discount" to warrant me using them, ever.

Yeah GMG are an official key reseller. Licensed by many publishers and Steam themselves (in order to distribute Steam Keys legally)

So yeah you can trust GMG.

Legit yes..... but when the people that buy from them don't like something about the game or it doesn't work they will complain about it here.

Bear in mind, GMG still dont have any codes for DS3 yet, and have stated that they might not get them in time for release.

They are NOT getting their keys directly from the publisher. They are getting them from an undisclosed (shady?) 3rd party.

I ordered from there, still no preload key. the 4th time its happened to me (battlefront was 3 days late then invalid, Witcher 3 keys were non legit and BLOPS3 keys were spotty on working/dlc)

If you want to play on launch, id avoid. They are already issuing refunds.

They are legit, used them a lot, but I wonder where their source for keys are. Like Dark Souls 3, people that pre-ordered from them are asking where their keys are so they can pre-load. They only tell people "when we hear from our distributer we will let you know". They have done this a few times before also. I have even had where I had to wait a few hours after the game was out before I got a key for my game.

After reading their forums and people complaining about gmg messing up again and then a few people talking about gamesplanet, which does get their key straight from namco bandai and had keys ready to go for preload on steam, I decided to buy from gamesplanet instead. Gamesplanet even had a key to use on the namco bandai site to get vip points. They even have the 20% off also. So I am glad I waited this time, but I had been burned by gmg in the past that caused me to wait.

I've purchased a few games from them and the only issue I had was when they ran out of keys for Star Wars Battlefront. I still got my key, just a few days late.

Never had an issue with a key being invalid.

Personally, I've only puchased 4~5 games from them but I know other people that use them as well and don't have any problems.

It honestly infuriates me how people still call GMG "legit" after numerous ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on AAA games being either late, invalid keys, publishers coming out and saying GMG arent official retailers, plus them getting booted off reddit/gamedeals.

What does a company have to do before people stop saying they are "legit"?

The only reason i purchased from there again, is i had 30$ in credit from a previous screw up. Now they look like they screwed up the fix for the screw up.

They didnt run out of keys, they sold EU keys to NA players because they sourced them cheaply in europe. Thats why it was late, the EU release was 2-3 days after the NA

The "grey market" sellers get their keys from the same place Greenman does.
Only difference is GMG is fast enough to go "Nuh uh, no we don't 'sticks fingers in ears' lalalalalalalalalalalalalala" when accused of getting their keys from places they shouldn't.

I always buy from GMG but everyone who's bought from there is apparently not getting their keys until after launch and I'd really like to preload, so I think I'll buy elsewhere.

Yeah after Battlefront was late I stopped using them for pre-orders. But I'll go when there is a good sale

Install a Chrome addon called " Enhanced Steam" it shows historic high and low prices for numerous valid vendors. All of the sites linked are legit.

How do you know that? Was there some kind of twitter post or something?
