GRAND ARCHIVES KEY

Anyone having a problem with the key missing from the bottom of the door ? Also how do i fix?

hi. same here. I beat the boss, got to grand archives bonfire, but the body with key is simply not there (Black Hand Gotthard). Please help.

You have to get 3 Cinders before the key will show up. I.E, you have to kill 3 of the other Lords of Cinder.

wich are the 3 lords we need to kill to get in the archives? i have the same problem, i think i killed all the boss i have to kill, i have no other boss to do, im in the front of the grand archives and there is no key, a friend of mine did exactly the same thing and he had the key.
wich boss exactly am i supposed to kill please ?

If you don't have the key it's probable that you haven't killed all the bosses you can.Check a progression graph to see who you need to kill, don't want to talk out of my butt and give wrong info ^^

i have done Oceiros,Gundyr and the dragonslayer armor and ALL the others, who the fùck i must rrape to continue the game? it start to ppiss me off ..

Yeah, that guide is a piece of ♥♥♥♥. Read a bunch of reviews and apparently it's missing A LOT.

yeah i followed the wiki for the 2 too, its WAY better, the guide is way too expensive for it, in some few months the wiki will be almost complete, its already full or great infos.
the wiki for dark souls series must be in a book, i would buy it day one.

Since this is the first google result for looking for "grand archives key" i will update here with the problem (and solution) that I had for this issue.

Turns out that I killed yorn with the help of siegward of catarina. immediately after I killed the boss, i did not speak with him, instead i continued to oceiros, gundyr, dragonslayer armor. i killed dancer before all that by manually triggering the boss fight.

Turns out that I had to speak to siegward and exhaust all his dialogue to get the cinematic where you are teleported to dancer room, I then immediately used the bonfire there (because the boss was already dead) to go to grand archives, and the key was there.

Hope this will help someone :)

If you've killed the first 3 Lords but his corpse still doesn't appear, try teleporting to the Aldrich, Devourer of Gods bonfire and the cutscene that teleports you to Emma should trigger.

we solved it a long time ago, you have to kill all the other bosses before the key will show
