Siegward doesn't show up at Yhorm

So:

The last time I saw Siegward was when we fought against that Demon, since then I progressed in the game so far until Yhorm without seeing him.

I read about the questline and I went to all the locations, first I bought his armor from Patches, went to the well and gave it Siegward. I proceed to the kitchen, but he won't talk. After that I went to the cell and freed him.

Now I went into the boss room and there is no Siegward that joins me?

Greirat is also not back yet, even though he shouldn't be harmed the first time I sent him out...? wtf

I missed all the encouters with patches, he just appeared at the shrine. Also as I said I defeated many bosses and went through the areas without talking to Siegward or any other Npc but the female knight and he buddy which disappeared.

How can I make Siegward appear to the boss room so I can end the quest and get his armor and not a fricking second Storm Sword, lol.

I didn't, I had a back up and changed the save game as I found out (at that point i defeated Yhorm, but now I didn't), so right now the Yhorm the giant boss is alive.

I gave Siegward the armor in the well, in the kitchen he won't talk, I freed him from his cell, and now nothing.

You need to talk to Siegward in Irythll, but you can't if you already beat the Pontiff. So the quest will not complete.

Yep but you can always beat the giant yourself and then go talk to him in the holding cell and he will give you the slab.

In my game I beat Aldrich and then saved Siegward from the well, he wasn't making soup in Irithyll, but released him from the cell in the Profaned Capital. He did not help me with Yhorm. The condition for Siegward to get stuck in the well is when you open the big blue doors at the top of the church that lead out towards the cemetery. This needs to be done no later than beating the Pontiff.

i think i may have defeated pontiff but all the rest of everything worked, saved him, kitchen cell and im supposed to be able to see him when i walk through the fog its supposed to be a cutscene isnt it? didnt get it :/

Aw man!! This happened to me too. I beat Pontiff first and did all the Siegward talking points but he just wont show up for Yhorm!... suck.
