Orbeck of Vinheim gone from Firelink
Hi guys...

I got Orbeck yesterday and bought a new sorcery, today I want to revisit him again but he is gone now. I revisisted Firelink a few times but he doesn't appear anymore.

Is he gone for good? What the hell did I wrong that this happend :D?

If you progress so far without having given him a scroll he buggers off because he doesn't think you were holding up your end of the bargain.

Nice... that means I am stuck with Great Heavy Soul Arrow as main sorcery.

Yay no Soul Spear...

^^ Thats correct.
He will disappear permanently from the game should you defeat 4 bosses after recruiting him without giving him a single scroll for study (4 in total, only one needed to prevent his departure).

Well, rush to Karla. She will take any scroll or tome. Sorcery, miracles, pyromancy. Everything your soul desires.

So freed her, she only sell dark sorceries - no soul spear etc as she doesn't take scrolls.

Really stupid a major vendor disappears because of such a thing...

Did you try to give her the scroll more than once? I gave her a dark miracles tome and she doesn't take it till you try a second time. Haven't done with sorceries so I'm not sure.

She doesn't accept those scrolls at all (there is no option to give it). What you guys mean is the tome for the miracles which I don't need.

Orbeck is the only guy that sells sorcieries like Soul Spear, Soul Mass etc.

Don't worry, sorceries suck. Pyromancies are the strongest of the three.

To be fair, GHSA is a much more efficient spell than the Crystal souls spears. You should be glad. You have way more casts for better DPS. The damage difference is not that significant, especially when you take into account the FP cost and cast speed.
