The first time I met Aldia in DS2 my thought was, "Oh ♥♥♥♥, they really went there, didn't they?"

Well considering the game design its highly unlikely they would do something like this. Bonfires are safe places in the game. It would be breaking the rules of the game to do something like this. Unless they have another color or are well indicated I think it would throw most people off too hard.

Or a boss that just turns out to be a regular mob with basic health and then a chest appears which is the real boss... The First Mimic.
