How to save game in Dark Souls III?

I know that in the first Dark Souls the game will save your progress after every little thing you do. How are things this time?

save is automaticly evry second

same. there's no manual save, it's pretty much a persistent save, thus the flag when you log in if you closed the program instead of properly quitting from the menu.

You'll see a tiny flame in the top right each time the game saves, it basically does that every 30 seconds or something, when you die, when you kill an enemy, when you get loot, when you quit the game etc.

My PC even crashed (power surge, not the game) and it saved right where I was mid combat.
