DARK SOULS™ III

DARK SOULS™ III

Calamity Ring, Dumb Dev Joke or Special Secret?
So it dropped again, and why would it drop so close to the end of the game? It doesn't make sense to wear it, why go to the trouble of coding and programming something so potentially useless into the game?

Everyone speculated possible uses in the previous game, and now again it's back.

I just wish a developer would tell someone it unlocks something powerful and forbidden or something.......

It does unlock something powerful, tougher enemy stats.

It's a challenge ring, for those who think Dark Souls aren't Dark Enough.
It came from Kalameet, the meanest dragon in DS1, who had the ring's effect as part of its grab attack in Oolacile.

That's all there is to it.

you get it from beating, agruably the strongest enemy in dark souls 1 only for you to get a ring that makes the game more difficult and a somewhat usefull sword. its a reward for massochists and a ♥♥♥♥ you to anyone else.

Kalameet was strong? Hellkite dragon was 100x stronger.

difficult to some, hes mainly difficult because his 1 hit kill attacks, once you learn those its easy(even then you usually get your pubes burnt off and a 3rd degree burn trying to dodge those massive aoe firebombs), but no other boss in dark souls is really that deadl, they are just simply easy, kalameet forces some skill.

TIL wanting a game to be harder makes you a masochist.
Just like enjoying your work makes you a workaholic, right?

Shame buzzwords lazy and baddies make up for those who are good.
