Elite knight armor
Apparently the elite knight armor has no female model like it had in ds II. Can't tell the gender of my character with helmet on :(

It did. Look it up on youtube. And no, not all armors are like that. The sunless armor looks quite feminine

Can you try and remember the gender instead?

Yeah, but it's also feminine on males as well... It's armor it doesn't magicaly change shape to the wearer.

I could, but thats not the point. Kinda curious why they didn't bring the armor model from ds 2 back.

You might as well complain that the Dancer armour has no male model.

Armour is armour, it's made of metal. Dark Souls games have always been realistic about that. If you want armour that shows your gender, you'll need cloth, leather, or something with an open helmet.

Smough's armor looks like something my grandma would wear.

Some of the pieces of the elite knight armor doesn't seem to be made of metal. Btw: Believe it or not, you can form metal in different ways and I can't see whats wrong with female knights of astora.

Yes, metal can be forged in different ways, but once forged it's staying like that.

too bad there aren't any smiths around in dark souls and that this is a videogame where things have to be absolutely realistic in any way. Also, the elite knight armor seems to consist of chainmail parts which are easier to adapt and the model already exist in ds 2.

What he's getting at that there is a different model between genders for some armors and have been in previous games. But perhaps they didn't have time to make a HD version of the Elite Knight Armor.
