do you mean, how do you use it? give it to the shrinemaiden

oh take it to the shrine maiden and in the menu "give umbral ashes"
she will then sell you additional stuff...have you given in other ashes eg. mortician ashes???
its like an upgrade to the shopkeeper

basically any "named" ashes you pick up go straight to the shrine maiden

it's not in the spot where i'm suppose to find it (and i know how ashes work) and i haven't givin it to the shrine maiden yet, because i can't purchase any lloyds
do i need to do something for it to spawn?

are you sure youre in the right spot...can you get a screenshot in...just to help confirm it

im assuming its a bug or youre not in the right spot..and if we can get a SS of it we can prob figure out a problem to it

from wiki (and got no time for screenshot, gotta go in 10 minutes)
Looted from a corpse near the first bonfire at Cathedral of the Deep behind a hostile NPC. After warping to the bonfire, turn to your left and head down the path. The item will be at the end of the short path.
there is also a NPC there garding it, keeps throwing knifes at me, and on the big stairs is a guy in brigand outfit, i chekced, it's not there, oh well, no llodys for me

Its in the big Chirch at the Cathedral of the Deep Area start, the Chirch with the Bonfire and with the many high Doors in it and the many small Chairs. Theres a Corpse in that Room with loot and thats the Paladins Ash, no idea what wiki says but i found it there. If it isnt there then you have it in your Inventory maybe.
