it's lazy because it's nothing more than an attempt to get a rise out of me.
wanting to read character bios and game history or knowing the "why" to things in-game = spoonfeeding..
yeah, ok. sure.
How the flaming ♥♥♥♥ have you played all the souls games, apparently like it, and not realize what kind of game it is? You should know what kind of game it is by now, how it works, what to expect from it. you should know information is there, just somewhat cryptic.
Dark souls isnt even the first game to convey its story the way it does, theres a whole genre to it. Plus this is part of the appeal to it. It's part of the reason why this game is considered 'hardcore'. And to that comment you made about the community having to be the one to piece the story together and why you don't understand how that can be seen as a plus:
The developers put all the information they want you to know in the game and its your job to speculate and share your ideas with others and learn about different possibilities. Think about it as a psychological mystery movie. IF thats not your cup of tea and you dont want to bother learning about it then youre SOL.
Do you know where it is now or not?
yes
