How to co op after area boss is dead?

So, if u cant summon anyone after the boss area is dead, how will I play with my friend after he cleared the boss? as in helping to farm souls, create pvp tournaments etc..

If the boss is dead, you can still summon Red Signs in that area. White Signs are only available if the boss is not dead in that area since they're goal is to help with boss.

you can still summon red and purple phantoms, I think. reds I'm pretty sure you can. I don't know about purples though.

you could become a mound bro and use that to be summoned by him. Mound bros can both pve and pvp so they would be a good way to play with friends. BEWARE of friendly fire if you pve near each other.

You can summon for pvp even after the boss has been cleared.
DS2 had a cool system in the small white soapstone, I miss that.

go to the next area bonfire and get him to summon you from there.

Red signs are pvp.

wait i did the mob boss where you have to kill the red highlighted one

you can't summon if all bosses of an area are dead. Actual bosses only, minibosses do not count, so kill minibosses first.

Tried it with friend, same password etc. Sign doesnt appear, even other signs without password. Try it too, mb that was server lag for that time.
