Cathedral of the deep bridges, spoilers

After you meet patches and you walk across the bridge hes next to he lowes it in an attempt to kill you. How do you raise the bridge back up? I have been all over and I can not find a lever to raise it back up. I found a walkthrough that said to go back up to where patches was and use the lever to raise the bridge but there is no lever anywhere. WTF!?

I haven't seen what patches does, but the lever is probably on the other side from where you were looking.

you probably need to drop of the rafters.

Thanks nameless guy. I had forgot about that tower and never thought to drop from it either.

Go to the bonfire that has three doors (can't remember the name), and take elevator of the right one up to the tower. Climb out on the ledge, walk around to the ladder and climb up.

Find the way from there.
