Killing NPC's
I've been told by people that I should kill NPC's before going into NG+. What I'm wondering is of DS3 has some sort of Sin system? If it does, can it be completely cleansed, and would I have to pay souls for it, or just go into NG+?

Thank you! :)

It does have a sin system. There is a statue near the sewers that can cleanse it, I forget the location and statue names though. It wasn't too far into the game though.

rosaria mother of rebirth or so
it's velka. rosaria has nothing to do with sins.

Okay, so sin can be cleansed. Approximate cost if possible? And does it go away when you go into NG+ or does it persist?

Sins are cleansed by a statue in the sewers within the undead settlement (It's very close to the bonfire where you get attack by the first NPC mad spirit). Don't know the cost as i havn't needed to it yet - though i assumed it was free the first time.

As far as i remember from Dark souls 1 (skipped 2) sins reset for the second playthrough, though it was a long time ago i could be wrong.

Killing NPC's is not a sin, I murdered every single one just to see. She always said I am sinless. lol

Even killing Yorksha was not a sin. FROM! please.

I killed everyone and started a NG+. Not seen anything to suggest a sin level or anything different.

i think killing the npc removes the sin, the sin system means that if you aggro an npc by accident you can make him forgive you by removing the sin

Only do it when you complete the game and want to go to NG+
You don't want to regret killing someone you need, at least until you know more about the game.
