[BUG] Dragon Barracks dragon fight not triggering

In the Dragon Barracks there's a spot in a room where one of the dragon's claws is poking in through a window with some Abyss-ey stuff gooping out of it, and when you attack it it rears up and does its thing with all the black tentacles.
Except in my game no amount of smacking the thing will get it to agro, which means that the dragon cannot die. I wailed on it for 5 full minutes until the dragon's health bar got to 1 point left and it woudn't go lower, and the Abyss thing still didn't do anything. Melee hits don't work, pyro don't work, firebombs at the exploding barrels next to it don't work.

So now i can't really progress because the dragons are kinda in the way of the next area and are supposedly unkillable thanks to this one thing not being triggered.

I got that ♥♥♥♥ too. First time I beat on it with a summon and instead of the tentacle monster triggering the dragon just went invunerable and I could not hit it anymore. I tried to reload and do it again, but it just takes damage until it is at 0 health and won't die.

But... the dragons are not blocking anything special, just proceed through the unlocked gate. Trust me, you wont miss anything and you shouldn't ruin your game experience trying to solve this problem.

Never responded since i just bypassed it and sacrificed those couple of items, but in mine it turned out to be just a visual bug. So the dragons still looked like they were doing their ♥♥♥♥, but the fire did nothing, they didn't react to anything i did. NG+ seemed to fix it.

There is no fix. The dragons will be necroed again, just like this thread.

As said above, there are no important items. Just Titty Scales and Twinkling Tits and maybe Souls or Lightning Urns idk.
