You are hollow, go to the top of firelink and get the fire keeper soul. Give it to the fire keeper and she will be able to cure your hollowing for alot of souls.

Can be cured permanently by giving Fire Keeper Soul, but you will also be locked out from being hollow and from speaking to Yuria for the rest of the playthrough.

you've become a hollow. you must buy key in trader behind you for 20k and unlock gates to tower behind firelink shrine, go there collect firekeepers ashes bring them to firekeeper and she can cleanse you, but before that try obtaining purging stones.

You can use Purging Stones to reverse hollowing without having to remove the Dark Sigil. Yuria sells them.

or you can use a sage's blindfold to cover your ghoulish face, thing looks badass with the fallen knight set.
