Siegward of Catarina missing.
Hey dudes,

I gave back his armor when he was trapped in the well, the next step is that he's supposed to be in the kitchen at Irithyll of the Boreal Valley so you can share some soup but he isn't there, now I will say that I have finished the game at this point and am going back to do things I have missed, I've been able to finish other quest lines but is it possible that some become impossible to do after you progress through certain points?

UPDATE:
I skipped the kitchen step and moved onto Irithyll Dungeon, found him in the cell and saved him where he gave me a Titanite Slab and the next step he's supposed to help with Killing Yhorm the Giant but as I've already progressed further he will not leave his armor. At least I know now for NG+

He didn't appear for me there either, but apparently it skipped that step because I activated a bonfire, either Distant Manor or the first Irithyll Dungeon one. Instead, he skipped that part and went straight to the Dungeon cell.

Will check there, thanks dude.

Ahhh that sucks, well at least we have NG+ to do the stuff we missed I guess.

The quests in this game are so buggy.

If you miss the well (which you 100% will in your first playthrough since you have no reason to backtrack there once you've opened the door), Patches won't appear at the bridge (since yanno, you've already done that part to get to the door) so you'll have to go the Firelink Tower route. Then if you activate the Distant Manor bonfire before speaking to him in the kitchen (which again, you 100% will on your first playthrough since the bonfire is before the kitchen), he won't be at the kitchen and will skip right to Irithyll Dungeon but the questline won't progress; if you save him he'll just stay there and won't help you during Yhorm's fight.

Then there's Anri's questline, which actually affects the ending so the fact it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up is pretty bad. It acts normally till the Catacombs but the only way to continue it is to go through an optional area you can only stumble on by accident on your first playthrough. If you take just a few steps past the Smouldering Lake's entrance and kill Wolnir, Anri dies and the entire questline is ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Finally, there's Greirat's. For him to survive you need to NOT do Siegward's questline, since by the time you send him to pillage a second time you've already got Siegward's armor either by buying it or killing Patches, and the only way to save Greirat is to not get it. So you can either "save" Greirat (he still dies later on unless you abandon his questline), or "save" Siegward (he still exiles himself unless you kill him), but you can't do both unless you don't do any of their questlines.

There's just no way to play the game properly unless you read the wiki and already know what to do.

This is, besides the bad balance, my biggest gripe with DkS3. I like it, when something is not super obvious and you have to try out things to solve certain quests/puzzles, like in Zelda, but here you will fail without a walkthrough and there is no way to proceed without restarting in ng+.
