Walk up behind them, every enemy has a cone of vision and hearing. DONT RUN. Walk. backstab. Then as soon as you can hold heavy attack and should be dead.

Or if you got the int go buy Spook spell to make all your actions silent for a time. Or get the Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring to be permanantly silent. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing even for a fatrolly giant weapon character. Though I have to admit it trivializes most enemies if you play your cards right.

They're so weird, some weapon attacks just throw them to the ground, like my Great Scythe can consistently knock them down, but my ultra greatsword can't lol.

I had the Artorias Greatsword by the catacombs, what i did was stunlock them into the ground with the flip attack, then follow up with a heavy, ez kills

They can be parried too :)

I used the ice sword, sorry cannot remember the name, but it is a mini boss drop. It has enough range and speed to stunlock it.

attacking any skeleton with a great scythe instantly shatters them. gotta keep attacking while they're piecing themselves together again.

everyone chooses the sword and the dagger, but i stay true to my DS1 build :)

Artorias - Hollow smasher of hell stunlocks the ♥♥♥♥ out of enemies build :P
