So... about Blue Sentinels & Darkmoon

Is there any meaning in joining these covenants? I was really excited about joining the Blue Sentinels to help new players against invaders but I rarely get summoned :/

I'm SL 35, with a +2 weapon, hanging around High Wall of Lothric, Undead Settlement and even Road of Sacrifice. No luck so far... What about others?

not sure been waiting for at least an hour. lvl 53 weapon is + 6 sitting by central irithyll bonfire and nothing. im on darkmoon blade btw

I used to get summoned a lot but lately there's been nothing... maybe at 72 Im just too high for most way of the blues...

I think it may be that players aren't putting on the way of the blue sigil, in addition to SL, plus being online at the same time makes the summon chance very narrow compared to invasions/summons. I think they should if not already in the case of the blue sentinels and darkmoons completely ignore the SL range aspect so it would be more often, as well as make it seem more like a champion has come to save you ^^.

Hell even the forest covenants got ranges now which doesnt seem to make sence... Farron's covenant should be about preventing entry at all cost, so what would they care that someone is too high or low level?

From a lore aspect that makes sense, but it was probably to avoid people with huge levels bullying new players/ low level players from progressing. But I do think making an optional if you enter you will face great foes zone would be a cool idea lol

I put on the way of the blue in an area where I am level 70, I got invaded about every 15 minutes, and it took darkmoon/sentinels a good 2 minutes to even get summoned. Some way of the blues may not wear it because there seem to not be sentinels to help them.

DS1 forest never cared about that. Never really mattered either, people just knew better than to enter the forest in human form unless they wanted some ridiculous pvp.

from what i understand you only get to invade if you have similar weapon upgrades ect +5 you wont invade somone with a +1 only +3 or higher i guess it works the same way as a blue counter invader.

And the Blue Sentinels are just a low rank of Darkmoon, I think they do the same thing...

yeah i just made a new character until people catch up also you should check the pc pvp meta its 120 atm on console.
