Infinite soul glitch at a bonfire

Hello to fellow DS3 players. Today I've encountered a strange and annoying glitch as I've got to restart the game with a new character for the 2nd time because of it.

I was this time in Road of Sacrifices, walking upto which I guess now was a boss location. But I did not have to kill this boss, I walked upto the bonfire and rested to for some reason get lots of souls, If I keep on doing this, I keep on getting the souls.

I even quit the game and reloaded it as first video I made doing this wasn't clear, for some reason even after quiting the game and loading the glitch was still continous to be able to make this better video. I've had to now delete the character as I find it personally gamebreaking and ruin my playthrough.

Here's the video I made showing the glitch I encountered. Bare in mind of quality as it was via my mobile phone and recording one handed haha.

why not just die and lose all the souls you gained from the glitch instead of deleting your character?

cause the bug is still there when he restart the game, you clearly did not watch the video and listen to what he said

I want to experience the game for what it is, also I like to actually fight the boss and the enemies I am meant to be encountering.

Just...don't use the souls? like assume you're at 0 and just practice some self discipline and not use more souls than you actually earn. Also where is this at? This would be good to toss into the technical topic(also to be honest I wouldn't mind a fast grind because dammit I like powergaming, the game is still a challenge even with "maxed" stats all things considered).

Whats with ppl here? do you even read and watch the video?.
Do you think it would be fun to play a game when everyting is dead before he reach them? even the bosses just die before he reach them....

I get the part of just not using the souls and carry on like nothings happened, But I want to have the real experience of the game. I even 'QUIT' the game and 'RELOADED' the game, the glitch is still there.

Have you tried resting at a different bonfire and just avoiding that one?

Yes where ever I was going, everything seems to die. Only way it stopped was to create a new character.

I want to fight all bosses ingame. To me, this ruined it for me.
